23 March 2007

Dear NCWV fellow members,

Russ and I would like to thank you for your thoughtfulness in presenting us with a plaque commemorating 20 years of service to the organization, which we received at the January 2007 staff meeting. It was quite a surprise; but, even though it sounds trite, we couldn't have done it without you.

You all know from your own experiences that re-enacting and all that goes into it, both the learning and the teaching, is not easy; nor is helping to keep a non-profit organization afloat. In fact, it could easily become work. But we were fortunate, for two reasons. We would never have made it to 20 years if it hadn't been more than just "a little bit fun", and if we hadn't had all of you, past and present, members and friends, to help make it all worthwhile.

Thank you so much for sharing your part of the past 20 years with us.

Russ & Ava Hahn
